Renowned stylists Giovanna Battaglia and Tabitha Simmons along with brand ambassador and Head of Dolce&Gabbana Alta Moda Coco Brandolini d’Adda embody feminine freshness glowing in Spring: quintessence of simplicity and elegance.
What gives timeless beauty to these three lovely women is a touch of soft makeup, the bright colours of the Dolce&Gabbana SS14 make-up collection along with fabulous iconic fashion creations.
Created specially for the runway show with Dolce&Gabbana Make Up Creative Advisor Pat McGrath, the make-up collection echoes the soft, luminous shades of spring blossom. The resulting look is one of everyday elegance, painted in warm, golden and natural tones with luminous glints of the same pink, red and orange as Sicilian flower buds.

Underlining his close personal involvement with the project, Domenico Dolce himself shot the print fragrance advertising campaign for Dolce, working alongside Stefano Gabbana as Creative Director. To bring to life the story of Dolce, Domenico and Stefano recreated a garden of white flowers at the wall of a stately Sicilian home. The soft and ethereal background highlights Kate King’s refined beauty, portraying her as a modern-day woken from sleep, pure, natural and still dressed in her white petticoat.

Normans (from Northmen or Norsemen) were a Scandinavian group of people, settled in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. The history of Norman’s Sicily began with their conquering of the island which took place in 1061 through a landing in Messina. The Dolce&Gabbana Men’s Winter 2015 collection takes inspiration from the Norman Kings Ruggero I, Ruggero II, William I, William II, Tancredi, Henry VI, Federico II and Manfredi as well as from the architecture of Norman Sicily as seen in Palermo in the Norman Building, the Cathedral and the Church of the Martorana.
